HBO is planning to launch its HBO Go service without a cable subscription in 2015.
The News was announced at the Time Warner Investor Day conference. HBO chief Richard Plepler says: “This will be transformative for our company. It is time to remove all barriers to those who want HBO.”
No price plan or launch date was not announced. Wondering if they will charge less than the typical cable package of 18 dollars a month, otherwise the deal is not worth the trouble. This might be good for cable cutters, but not people that have satellite or cable providers.

The MAD Magazine website has released a PSA image to help you with your new purchase for the DC comic.
“important message from the DC Comics department of ethical reading,” which continues the running gag of the drug’s distinctive smell — “something called Cannibisylocibe 7-A” — and the possible side effects.
Harley Quinn Annual #1 goes on sale Oct. 29.
Check out the “Reading Instructions” below, running in DC comic books this week, compliments of the MAD team. Read, rub and sniff at your own risk!
Rumors have been swirling for the past few months that Marvel could be pulling the plug on the long running Fantastic Four comic.
Marvel announced at NY Comic-Con that it had cancelled any further Fantastic Four comics. Not sure if this is a way to put the comics on the shelf before relaunching or a dirty fight against 20th Century Fox. A new Fantastic Four movie comes out in 2015, and rumors are Marvel wanted to use the Fantastic Four characters in future Avengers films.
